What You Share Shapes Our Community 

At Stay Caribbean, we value transparency, trust, and respectful communication. To maintain a safe and inclusive space for travelers, property partners, and locals, we ask all users to follow these content guidelines — whether you’re writing a property description, posting a review, or uploading media.

 

 

1. Be Honest and Accurate

 

Your words matter. Whether you’re a host creating a listing or a guest writing a review:

• Only share truthful, first-hand experiences.

• Avoid exaggeration or omission that may mislead others.

• Hosts must ensure descriptions, amenities, rules, and policies are up to date and reflect the actual property.

 

 

2. Stay Respectful and Inclusive

 

We celebrate diversity across the Caribbean and around the world. Content should be:

• Free from hate speech, discrimination, or prejudice.

• Respectful in tone — avoid aggressive or threatening language.

• Inclusive of all backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles.

 

 

3. No Promotional or Spam Content

• Listings should promote only the specific property or service you are offering on Stay Caribbean.

• Do not post external links, personal contact information, or unrelated advertisements.

• Reviews must reflect personal experience — not serve as marketing or competitive tactics.

 

 

4. Keep It Clean and Family-Friendly

 

Stay Caribbean is a community for travelers of all ages. We do not allow:

• Profanity, vulgarity, or sexually explicit content

• Violent or graphic descriptions

• Unverified or inappropriate health or safety claims

 

5. Respect Privacy

• Do not share private information of others (e.g., names, addresses, phone numbers) without consent.

• For hosts: if your property uses surveillance (e.g., security cameras), this must be clearly disclosed in your listing and follow legal requirements.

 

 

6. Review Standards

 

When leaving reviews:

• Be specific, constructive, and fair.

• Avoid using reviews to seek refunds or compensation.

• Reviews must relate to the actual stay or interaction — no third-party hearsay or revenge posting.

 

 

7. Image & Media Guidelines

• Upload clear, high-resolution photos that reflect your space honestly.

• Do not use misleading angles, filters, or staged representations.

• All images must be copyright-free or owned by the uploader.

 

Violations and Enforcement

 

We review content regularly and may remove or edit submissions that violate these guidelines. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
